Living Stone (The Sanctuary)

Peter states that Jesus is the living stone. What does that mean in today’s world? How, as followers of Jesus, are we Living stones too? How are living stones being built into a spiritual house to be a royal priesthood? Is the church not a living organism, and are clergy and laity alike not called/chosen to be alive because of the goodness and grace offered to us in Jesus?
