As part of FCUMC’s outreach programs and in accordance with our core values, we are re-establishing our relationship with Tommie Brown Academy. The program will enable kindergarten and first-grade teachers at Brown to improve their students’ literacy levels prior to entering second grade. Reading is fundamental and this initiative can make a significant difference in the children’s future academic success. No prior training in literacy instruction will be necessary.
