Youth Holiday Party

Our Youth Holiday Party is happening on December 17th at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Center! Come ready for an evening of games, festive activities, and holiday fun as we celebrate the season together. Don’t miss this chance to share Christmas cheer with your friends!

Crafts and Carols

December 17th at 7:00 p.m. at Hutton & Smith Brewing Co.

Crafts and Carols will be on Wednesday, December 17th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hutton & Smith Brewing Co.! Come together to sing your favorite Christmas carols and enjoy a festive drink in a relaxed, joyful atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season with friends, music, and cheer!

fcCollege Holiday Party

December 19th at 7:00 p.m. at Rock City

Join us for the fcCollege Holiday Party on December 19th from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Rock City! We’ll celebrate the season together by enjoying the beautiful holiday lights and festive atmosphere. We’ll meet at the church beforehand to ride over together, so don’t miss out on the fun! Be sure to bring money if you’d like to grab dinner or shop for gifts while we’re there.

Lessons & Carols

December 21st
Music of the Season is at 10:30 a.m.
Worship Service is at 10:45 a.m.
in the Sanctuary

Celebrate the season with Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 21st in the Sanctuary. The morning begins at 10:30 a.m. with Music of the Season, filling the space with festive melodies, followed by the 10:45 a.m. service, where the story of Christ’s birth is shared through scripture readings and carols. Join us for a beautiful morning of music and celebration as we prepare our hearts for Christmas.

Christmas Eve Services

December 24th
3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in The Vine and Sanctuary
11:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Celebrate Christmas Eve with us at First-Centenary! Join us on December 24th for a time of worship as we celebrate the birth of Christ. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in both The Vine and the Sanctuary, and at 11:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Each service will offer inspiring music, meaningful messages, and a warm atmosphere to share with loved ones. All are welcome to experience the joy and hope of the season with our church family. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Holiday Office Closures

December 28th: No 8:30 a.m. Sanctuary Service

Please note that First-Centenary Church offices will be closed on December 24th–26th and January 1st for the holiday season. Additionally, there will be no 8:30 a.m. Sanctuary service on December 28th. We wish everyone a joyful and peaceful Christmas and New Year and look forward to seeing you at upcoming services and events!

Want to share your Christmas? Mini canvas ornaments are in the Lobby of the Vine and the side and back door of the Narthex . Please keep the decorated canvas as your Christmas keepsake. Once you take an ornament, please add your name and contact information on the clip board. Attached, you will find a return gift tag, a wish list tag which gives the name of child, wishes and instructions for sharing.

• Centenary Discretionary Fund – Goes to the greatest need.
• Student Need Fund – Provides clothes, shoes, books, and other needed items directly to students.
• Student Launch Fund – Prepares students for college and life after graduation.
• Summer Camp Program Fund – provides Scholarships to Camp Lookout and a 7-week summer program which includes daily academic enrichment, physical education, field trips, and summer reading.
