Rev. Mary Thompson is an ordained Deacon in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. She previously has served as Executive Director of Holston Camp & Retreat Ministries and Minister of Missions at Christ UMC in Chattanooga, TN. Mary graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009 and Emory University’s Candler School of Theology with a Master of Divinity in 2013.

Mary is married to Rev. Dr. Alex Thompson, an elder in the UMC who is currently serving as a Professor of Religion at Tennessee Wesleyan University. They have two very energetic boys, Beckett and Oliver, and two equally energetic dogs, Henry and Luke.
